The Litchfield Hills Rowing Club is asking the worldwide rowing community to help make history.

On Saturday, August 15, we will host what we believe is the first-ever Regatta to END ALZ—a rowing event created to raise awareness and funds in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

This event is deeply personal.

Our inspiration is Drew Combs, Director of the Litchfield Hills Rowing Club. Drew grew up in the rowing community. His father, Chris Combs, has devoted much of his life to the sport, making rowing a central part of their family's story. When Alzheimer's disease touched their family, Drew challenged our club to turn heartbreak into hope.

Rather than simply organizing another regatta, we decided to organize a regatta with a purpose.

The Litchfield Hills Rowing Club is committed to making the Regatta to END ALZ an annual event, bringing the rowing community together every year to support Alzheimer's research, raise awareness, and honor the families affected by this disease.
