Casual Vacancy
The Rowing Tasmania Board, pursuant to clause 17.1 of the Rowing Tasmania Constitution 2019, seeks to fill the casual vacancy with an appropriately qualified person. The Board has determined the desired qualifications for filling this casual vacancy to supplement existing skills on the Board.

Accounting skills
The individual is to ideally have accounting qualifications with sound financial experience in the areas of audit & risk, governance, legislation around reporting obligations and analytical skills.

Experience in grant funding application and project management would be of assistance.

To ensure the Tasmanian Government’s gender equity requirements are met the Board is looking to appoint a woman or gender diverse person to this casual vacancy.

The Board will continue to build relationships within the community that promote, support and inform our work to develop the sport of rowing in Tasmania.

As a diverse and inclusive Board, we are seeking a professional who will make a positive impact on our organisational performance by proactively contributing to shaping our culture, strategic focus, governance and financial sustainability.

The Board looks to Directors to support us to continue to develop and advance by applying varied experience and skills to help guide RT through its next exciting phase.
