Vale Louise Tippett

Rowing Tasmania is saddened to learn of the passing of Louise Tippett, the wife of RT Life Member and Mersey Rowing Club stalwart Merv Tippett and mother of David Tippett.
Louise was a valued member of the Mersey Rowing Club. She was the first female at the club to be awarded Life Membership, in 1981.
She was an integral part of MRC’s wonderful Women's Committee whose main role was fundraising and social activities. These women were the backbone of the club for many years through their tireless work.
Louise passed away on October 11.
Rowing Tasmania extends our sympathy to Merv, David and their families.
Rest in Peace, Louise.
Funeral details: Tuesday 21st October, 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Stewart St, Devonport.
