ISM4x gold first for State

A gold medal row by Tasmania’s ISM4x crew capped off a string of successes for Tasmanians competing at the 2023 Australian Masters Rowing Championships at SIRC, Penrith, from June 1-4. The ISM4x row by Tom Wilcox (LRC), Pat Bird (NERC), Michael Wilson (URC) and Mark Bonham (TRC) was the first time Tasmania has won an Interstate Masters race.

Vale Eric Waller- a friend of Rowing Tasmania

Rowing Tasmania and our members would like to acknowledged with sadness, the passing of Eric Waller. Eric has spent many hours with our volunteers and BRO's in Tasmania helping to prepare for Nationals and has been a great friend to all at Rowing Tasmania both on and off the water, he will be sadly missed.

As a decorated member of the Australian Rowing Team, Georgia Nesbitt didn’t know the meaning of giving up or slowing down. Now she is tackling the greatest challenge of her life with the same vigour as she takes her first steps to recovery after a serious cycling crash that left her in an induced coma. . Tamar Masters Saturday 13th May. Please be advised that there will be an official / umpire / athlete briefing at 7 am in front of the boat bays. The regatta should wind up about 11.30 am. We would love people to stay on for the boat Christening at 12.30 pm.
